Cilcain Loop Saturday 28th
My original plan was to do a long Clwyds loop from Moel Famau forest however there was a diversion on the access road, so instead I started from Cilcain Pump House and got thrown straight into the Vomit Hill climb with no warm up. Weatherwise it started off blustery but as the day went on it started to clear up a bit. In all just over 38km with 1156m of climbing.
Saturday 21st – Llandegla
Did a couple laps of Llandegla today, good to see the trail pixies are out adding improvements.
No more ISIS
Finally de-ISIS’d all of my bikes with the conversion of my singlespeed to an external bottom bracket. A cheap STX chainset and an On-One stainless steel chainring were used, the bike looks better and more importantly will hopefully not suffer from a bottom bracket that starts to break down as soon as it is exposed to air.
